Within hours of the October 7 attacks by Hamas, thousands of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) faculty, staff, and students were called up to serve in IDF reserve duty. Learn about the resiliency of the faculty and student-reservists returning to their work and studies while simultaneously dealing with trauma from the ongoing war.
Join us to hear from Dr. Oren Wacht as he shares his lessons from the battlefield, how BGU’s Field Family Medical Simulation Center became an epicenter for necessary training, and the future of tactical medicine.
